Radiology and nuclear medicine give us a clear view: The Klinik am Ring has a highly modern and very efficient facility for so-called imaging diagnostics at its disposal in the Nuramed Köln City joint practice.
In addition to a whole-body magnetome with 1.5 Tesla field strength (Siemens Symphony), the examination of the prostate has been performed there since 2/2012 with a high-resolution, high-performance 3 Tesla MRI, which currently represents the gold standard for the visualization of prostate cancer with high-resolution imaging, in accordance with current ESUR guidelines, in order to provide the West German Prostate Center / the Urology Department of the Klinik am Ring with precise information for targeted biopsies.
