Cologne, September 1, 2024 - The West German Prostate Center (WPZ) at the KLINIK am RING, Cologne welcomes Priv.-Doz. Dr. Isabella Syring-Schmandke a warm welcome. Since the beginning of September 2024, the urology specialist has strengthened the medical team headed by Dr. Stephan Neubauer and Dr. Pedram Derakhshani.

Priv.-Doz. Dr. Syring-Schmandke previously worked for six years as a senior physician at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Urology and Pediatric Urology at Bonn University Hospital and has extensive knowledge in a broad spectrum of urology. Her specialist focus is particularly in the field of endourology. This includes the minimally invasive treatment of benign prostate enlargement and bladder tumors as well as the surgical removal of ureteral and kidney stones. She also has excellent expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of urological tumors, in particular prostate cancer. In addition to her many years of experience in patient care, she has also made an outstanding contribution to urological research.
The West German Prostate Centre is one of the centers with the highest number of cases in Europe and specializes in the treatment of prostate diseases. The interdisciplinary facility focuses on the treatment of prostate cancer and benign prostate enlargement using modern surgical and laser procedures as well as innovative modern radiotherapy techniques.
