"We are pleased to announce that our new YouTube channel "KLINIK am RING - West German Prostate Center " is now online," says Dr. Stephan Neubauer, senior urologist at the West German Prostate Center at KLINIK am RING in Cologne.
After the launch on July 22, new med.clip videos will be published regularly. In them, prostate specialists explain modern diagnosis and treatment options for prostate cancer or benign enlargement, provide information on preventive and early detection examinations, and keep interested parties up to date on current developments and the latest research findings.
Even complex and innovative techniques such as brachytherapy or holmium laser enucleation of the prostate are explained in a comprehensive and easy-to-understand manner. The three- to five-minute videos are aimed at patients, relatives and interested parties.
"With our med.clips, we would like to supplement our range of information and give interested parties the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about prevention, diagnostics and therapy of prostate diseases outside our practice rooms," emphasizes Dr. Neubauer. To avoid missing any of the videos, interested parties can subscribe to the YouTube channel.
Since 2002, the West German Prostate Center Cologne, as one of the centers with the highest caseload in Europe, has offered the entire spectrum of diagnostics, therapy and follow-up care of prostate diseases. The main focus of the center is the treatment of prostate cancer with innovative techniques of brachytherapy and external beam radiation therapy as well as benign prostate enlargement with modern surgical techniques and laser procedures.
