Dr. Derakhshani has focused clinically and scientifically on minimally invasive treatment of prostate cancer since 1995. In addition to permanent seed implantation, first performed in 1999, he also has extensive clinical experience with surgical techniques, cryotherapy, and HDR afterloading. As the author of numerous publications and congress papers, he is a nationally and internationally recognized brachytherapy expert.
