Dr. Knippschild focuses on drug-based tumor therapy and the diagnosis and therapy of bladder emptying disorders (overactive bladder, urinary incontinence). In 2012, she received the Werner Staehler Memorial Award of the Southwest German Society of Urology for her scientific work on the therapy of overactive bladder. Since October 2016, Ms. Knippschild has been a member of the medical team of the Department of Urology.
